Former Big Brother Naija (BBN) housemate, Pere, has officially announced the end of his romantic relationship with fellow ex-housemate, Mercy Eke.

The duo’s relationship had gained public attention shortly before the conclusion of the All Stars edition of BBN, where Ilebaye emerged as the winner a few months ago.

Their romance was publicly acknowledged through radio shows and interviews with both parties expressing their commitment to taking their relationship to the next level.

However, Pere has now clarified that he and Mercy are no longer an item, urging their fans to refrain from anticipating any serious developments in the once bubbling relationship.

Pere, who wears multiple hats as both an actor and influencer, addressed their fanbase, stating: “Dear shippers, while I appreciate your efforts and care from inception, I would love to be clear on one thing: I am not dating Mercy Eke.

“So please cease with the flowers mentioning her name. This is as concise as I can be.”

As of now, Mercy Eke has not commented on Pere’s statement, leaving room for speculation about her awareness and potential endorsement of this decision.

The public awaits further developments in this unexpected twist in the BBN love story.
