Appeal Court confirms APC’s Dapo Abiodun as Ogun governor, throws out PDP’s Adebutu’s case

Reports reaching Persecondnews indicated that the appeal filed by the People's Democratic Party and its candidate, Oladipupo Adebutu, was dismissed.

The Appeal Court sitting in Lagos State on Friday upheld the verdict of Ogun State Elections Petitions Tribunal, affirming the victory of Mr Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress in the March 18 governorship poll.

Reports reaching Persecondnews indicated that the appeal filed by the People’s Democratic Party and its candidate, Oladipupo Adebutu, was dismissed.

Both Abiodun and Adebutu are from the same town — Iperu in Remo area of Ogun State.
