Mohbad’s death: Court remands Naira Marley, Sam Larry, others

A Magistrate’s Court sitting in Yaba area of Lagos on Wednesday remanded Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and the Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, a.k.a Sam Larry in police custody.

They are to cool their heels in cell for the next 21 days.

The State Police Command had requested that Fashola and others should be remanded for 30 days pending the completion of their investigation.

Persecondnews recalls that Naira Marley was arrested on his arrival in Nigeria on Tuesday evening by the Police and was charged to court on Wednesday.

In his ruling, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ordered that Fashola and the others be remanded for just 21 days.
