The Ogun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal will deliver judgment on Saturday, September 30 on the petition filed by Mr. Ladi Adebutu of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) against the victory of Gov. Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

After the adoption of final written addresses by both parties, the Hamidu Kunaza-led tribunal had on September 4 reserved judgment.

The tribunal had sent notice of judgment to the counsel of the petitioners and the respondents.

Adebutu is asking the tribunal to declare him the winner of the March 18, 2023 governorship poll, citing non-compliance with the 2022 Electoral Act.
