The war is over, Osupa declares as he visits K1 in Ijebu, Ogun

Fuji music star, Saheed Osupa, may have taken a bold step that may finally put an end to the age-long feud between him and his boss, Wasiu Ayinde, a.k.a K1 D Ultimate as he paid a courtesy visit to the Fuji music king at his Ijebu Ode palatial home in Ogun State.

For years, there had been a lingering feud between the two Fuji music acts.

Their rivalry had fueled endless debates among their fans with each camp fiercely defending its favorite artist.

The tension escalated to a point that it degenerated to a war of words, leaving the music-loving community divided.

But recent happenings in the Fuji music circle seem to be yielding positive results among some of the top acts including K1, Osupa, Pasuma and Malaika as they have decided to move away from the conflict that had pitched them against one another for more than a decade.

Per Second News gathered that the death of Pasuma’s mother, Alhaja Khadijat Odetola some weeks back set the tone for the peace moves among the Fuji music stars with some of them sending condolence messages to the singer as they reportedly expressed their desire to give peace a chance and put an end to the decade-long rivalry at the burial ceremony.

Speculations, however, became rife about the purpose of this visit as of their fans were skeptical, thinking it might be a publicity stunt, while others hoped it would bring an end to the rivalry.

Speaking on his visit to K1, Osupa waved aside insinuations suggesting that the visit was a publicity stunt, saying he remained committed to peace, unity and progress of the Fuji music industry and its practitioners, adding that paying homage to K1 at his residence should remind their fans that love has come to stay.

Osupa was warmly welcomed by K1, and they exchanged a cordial embrace, setting the tone for the reconciliation.

Together, they entered K1’s residence, a sprawling estate adorned with lush gardens and traditional Yoruba architecture.

The conversation was filled with honesty and humility. They acknowledged the role their rivalry had played in dividing their fans and vowed to put an end to it.

As a gesture of goodwill, K1 De Ultimate initiated a prayer session, saying the time has come to put an end to their differences and embrace peace.

He praised Osupa for paying homage unto him, saying “As you have paid homage to me, you will also be honoured by many people around you.

According to him, when people give honour to their leader, they will also be honoured by God.

“I honoured Mr Fuji during his life time and even in death, which is why I have continued to enjoy God’s grace.

“Let me tell you that from the depth of my heart, I feel proud of your visit and I am sure that God will also elevate you,” he said.
