A husband’s watery sperm has forced his wife to urge the court to dissolve their two-month-old marriage.
Persecondnews reports that the disgruntled wife, Salamat Suleiman, had approached the court, filing a divorce suit barely after two months of marriage, citing husband’s erectile dysfunction and inability to impregnate her.
Salamat told Upper Area Court, Oloje, Ilorin, Kwara State that she had been noticing her husband’s watery sperm since they got married.
“I want the court to dissolve the marriage, I’m tired of the relationship,” she pleaded with the judge.
The embattled man, however, agreed that he has a serious “health issue”, but insisted that the wife also have a “health challenge.”
In his plea to the court, the husband said: “I still love my wife and I want the court to grant me more time to settle the misunderstanding.”
The judge, AbdulQadir Umar, advised the wife to have “an open mind” while urging the duo to seek medical assistance on their health challenges.
The judge advised the wife to allow a “second chance” in the relationship, pointing out that there is no marriage without challenges.
The case has been adjourned until Aug. 28, 2023 for a report on possible settlement or continuation of hearing.
