As the Nollywood industry continues to mourn the death of actor Don Brymo Uchechi, veteran actress, Joyce Kalu, has called on her colleagues in the industry to make out time and pay attention to their health.

She said Don Brymo might not have died if he had observed enough rest.

The thespian in a video shared on her social media platform said the death of her colleague was a painful one that could have been prevented if he had taken time to rest and observe the issues about his health, saying many of her colleagues only focus on work but fail to check their health status.

Kalu maintained that many actors don’t look at life beyond acting but they like to be in showbiz and stay in the spotlight, insisting that people should stop blaming every death on spiritual attacks while many keep dying of ignorance.

“Don Brymo’s case is a lesson to all of us because what we are doing is a mental work that requires one to deliver a character that is different who we are.

” I was shocked when I heard about his death but we can’t question God but we can take necessary precaution.”

Speaking further about lack of care among movie practitioners, Joyce maintained that some of her colleagues focus on things that don’t matter and they sacrifice their friendship for clout chasing, calling on them to buy into the health insurance scheme introduced by the leadership of their association.

“We should try not to be negative about everything. If they call you for a job and you are not healthy to handle it, tell the person that you are not feeling well.

“If the person can wait, they will and if they can’t you can refund their money. I am pained and deeply wounded by this development because it hurts that we have allowed thing to get this bad among us,” she said.
