After his travails in the hands of the police for assaulting an officer, Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has left Nigeria to kick off his Europe tour.

The singer was locked up in the police cell for a week and was granted bail by a Yaba Chief Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, May 23.

Sharing his journey to Switzerland to kick off his European tour in Zurich, Seun Kuti said it is time to get back on the road for his music tour.

Kuti confirmed this on his Instagram story on Thursday.

He was spotted at the airport on Wednesday night and interacted with a few staff of the airport and his fans who insisted he removed his shades to be sure that he was the one.

The singer shared a picture of himself on the plane with the caption, “Euro tour kicks off tonight in Zurich.”
