Popular actor, Murphy Afolabi, to be buried today at his Ikorodu residence

The body of popular actor and movie producer, Murphy Afolabi, who died on Sunday in a bathroom accident, will be lowered into the ground today (May 15) at 4.00pm at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The actor died on Sunday after he sustained injuries from a bathroom fall and was rushed to the hospital where doctors tried to save his life.

He was later confirmed dead in the afternoon and his body deposited at the morgue.

Persecondnews gathered that the late actor was preparing for the launch of his latest movie, Alani Omo Iya Osogbo, which cost him millions of naira to shoot and complete.

Many of his colleagues in the entertainment industry are expected to bid Murphy Afolabi goodbye at his burial as they pay their last respect to one of their own, who they described as a professional thespian dedicated and committed to his craft.
