Horrific! Decomposed bodies of kidnapped Taraba monarch’s two wives, five children found in the forest

The gunmen had recently stormed the monarch’s residence in Jalingo, Taraba capital and kidnapped his wives and children

Exactly 21 days to Nigeria’s elections, a reign of terror by bandits and kidnappers has claimed the two wives and five children of a first-class monarch and retired high court judge, Sani Muhammed of Mutum-Biyu community in Gassol Local Council Area of Taraba State.

The decomposing bodies of the kidnapped two wives and five children have been recovered from the bush, according to reports reaching Persecondnews.

The gunmen had recently stormed the monarch’s residence in Jalingo, Taraba capital and kidnapped his wives and children.

The whereabouts of the abductees were since they were seized as the kidnappers did not communicate with the family.

But at the weekend, Taraba State Police Command announced that their bodies have been found in the bush.

“It is true that the bodies of the seven members of the monarch’s family have been found,” DSP Usman Abdullahi, spokesman for the command, said.

According to him, eight members of the monarch’s family—two wives, and six children — were kidnapped but one of the children escaped from the kidnappers’ den, while others were killed.

Also, the monarch confessed that the decomposed bodies of his two wives and five children have been found.

Grief-stricken monarch said: “The bodies of my family members killed by the kidnappers have been found and will be brought to Mutum-Biyu for burial today (Saturday).”
