Nigerian music star, Davido and his former protégé, Yonda, may have decided to forget their differences and return to the studio once again following a new twist to their two-year beef.

A Direct Message (DM) between Yonda and his former boss had emerged during the week where Yonda appealed to Davido and begged him to take him back into the Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) fold.

Trouble started between Yonda and Davido after the former granted an interview online accusing Davido of not paying and supporting his craft despite writing songs that earned him hits on several occasions.

Yonda, it was learnt, wrote Animashaun, a song on Davido’s album, entitled “A Good Time” with the singer, saying he didn’t get what was due to him for making hits for Davido.

Thereafter he left Davido’s label but his music career had since experienced a lull and is almost forgotten.

Urging Davido to take him back, he said:” l wouldn’t mind being a slave for Davido once again”.

Davido, who is set to perform at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup today in Qatar, responded to Yonda, saying ” You hurt me so much but I miss you too.”

The response had fuelled insinuation that the fight may be over as fans urged Yonda never to “destroy the bridge again” should Davido decide to welcome him back.
