Singer Yemi Alade has cried out after her belongings were ransacked and money stolen by some suspected burglars in Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire.
Alade, who performed at the Creative Africa Nexus Weekend last weekend, said she left her hotel room for a show and returned to discover that her apartment had been ransacked and some money stolen.
According to her, the robbers entered her room and took all the money they could find and also carted away some of her personal belongings.
She took to Instagram to reveal that when she left her hotel room, “unknown people got in, ransacked her belongings, and took all the money they could find.”
Distraught Alade, however, didn’t reveal the amount of money stolen from her room and the items taken away by the burglars.
