The five-time Ballon d’or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, says he has no respect for Erik Ten Haag just as he feels betrayed by Manchester United.
The 37-year-old superstar, in an astounding and explosive interview with Piers Morgan, CR7, ventilated his anger on Monday.
With a topsy-turvy start to the season by Ronaldo which has seen him notch just 3 goals in 16 games in all competitions before heading to his 5th World Cup in Qatar, he has launched a staggering attack on Manchester United and Erik Ten Haag.
“I don’t have respect for Erik Ten Haag because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I will never have any for you,” Ronaldo said.
Persecondnews report that Ronaldo, who rejoined Man U in 2021, feels betrayed by the top hierarchy of the club, saying:”Man United tried to force me out, not only the manager but also the other guys who are around the club; I feel betrayed.
“I feel that some people didn’t want me at Manchester United, not only this year but last season too.
“Nothing changed since I left the pool, the jacuzzi, even the gym, even some technology, even the chefs, who I appreciate lovely people.”
“I thought I would see new technology, infrastructure, I saw things I saw when I was 20.”
With match day 16 ending on November 13 paving the way for the World Cup in Qatar, the Premier League will restart on December 26 (Boxing Day) with Manchester United hosting Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on December 27, 2022.
