Popular actor and producer,  Sahidi Balogun, has said the 2023 elections are a make or break for Nigerians, insisting that Nigerians are already on the edge.

In an interactive session with Per Seconds News during the Meet and Greet session for his latest movie, “Finding Ireti”, he said the focus should be on who takes Nigeria out of the doldrums in 2023 and not the needless social media bullying or attacks on those who don’t support one candidate or the other.

The actor, who doubles as President of the Golden Movie Ambassador (TGMA), pointed out that Nigerians are on the verge of either losing it and getting it but many people are concentrating on the wrong things.

“I have been bashed several times because of my support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition but people tend to forget that we see things from different perspectives and we have the right to think otherwise.

“I see a lot of negative comments on social media platforms because of my position but I am not moved because that is not the focus for me.

“We need to start engaging these candidates constructively and interact with their policy documents for the nation. That for me is the way forward,” Balogun told Persecondnews.

Balogun, in a parting shot, hinted that no one is more Nigerian than the other, saying “If you love your country, do what you feel is right and stop criticizing those who are old enough to know what is good for them.”
