Just in: APC primary: Pres. Buhari off to Spain, holds emergency meeting with APC Governors

Barely 13 days after he returned from a trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE),

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Tuesday afternoon depart Abuja for Madrid, Spain.

The trip is to enable the President to begin a two-day state visit to the European nation.

Persecondnews recalls that Buhari had  May 19, 2022 visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where the new President of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to convey his condolences on the passing of the former President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The President also be congratulated Sheik Mohamed on his emergence as the new ruler of Abu Dhabi and President of the UAE.

Just before Buhari leaves for Spain, he held a closed-door meeting with the 22 APC governors in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting was attended by the National Chairman of APC, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu.

The meeting, it was learnt, is likely to discuss the forthcoming APC presidential primary.
