In a tactical strike to arrest him, the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have swooped on the Abuja residence of former Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
The anti-graft agency, Persecondnews learnt, have laid siege to the politician’s house who is currently serving as a senator and campaigning for Presidency.
“The officials have stormed the residence of the former governor in the Maitama area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Tuesday to arrest him,” a credible source said.
The operatives demanded that Okorocha, a presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) should submit himself for arrest or honour a long-standing invitation to their office.
However in a video, the EFCC operatives were seen within the premises of the former governor.
