Pres. Buhari confirms Bello-Koko as NPA MD/CEO

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr Mohammed Bello-Koko as the substantive Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

Persecondnews recalls that Bello-Koko has been functioning in acting capacity following the suspension of Hadiza Bala-Usman, in July 2021.

A statement by Eric Ojiekwe, the Director of Press and Public Relations of the Federal Ministry of Transportation, said the appointment takes immediate effect.

“Prior to this appointment, Koko was the Executive Director, Finance & Administration of NPA,” the statement said.
