Heston airlines, a Lithuanian based carrier, has sealed a deal with Nigeria’s Aero Contractors for the lease of two Airbus A320-232, Per Second News exclusively gathered.

The aircraft with registration nos. LY-FJI and LY-VUT are of 17.8 and 14 years old built in Toulouse, France.

The fleet were delivered in September according to Per Second News findings.

The additions now bring total number of planes for Aero Contractors to nine with seven of the fleet being Boeing 737.

Aircraft leases are leases used by airlines and other aircraft operators. Airlines lease aircraft from other airlines or leasing companies for two main reasons: to operate aircraft without the financial burden of buying them and to provide temporary increase in capacity.
