The construction of the Agege/Pen Cinema Bridge was initiatied by Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, the immediate past Governor of Lagos State.
The bridge has an overpass that rises from Oba Ogunji Road and drops at the Oke Koto section of Agege.
It is also expected to link directly to the old Lagos/Abeokuta highway and pass through Abule Egba to the new Lagos/Abeokuta Expressway.
