PCT which comprises all media persons working from the State House and those saddled with the responsibility of handling media issues  relating to the Presidency, is another innovation and re-inventing of the wheel and re-engineering of its media infrastructure.

The key responsibility of the PCT is to coordinate as one government to ensure communication on and around the Presidency, and the hot topics arising in the polity is proactive, organized and strategic.

It is envisioned to encourage openness and transparency in the information management while ensuring that Nigerians receive live and up to date information on the hot and burning issues in the polity.

At the briefing, Ahmed dealt extensively with the current status of Nigeria’s economy which exited recession with a 0.11% growth in the 4th quarter of 2020.

Key issues to be discussed at subsequent State House Briefings would be communicated to the public as and when due.
