A 12-year-old girl, Blessing Ineh, who reportedly went missing on New year day in Abraka, Delta State, has been found alive inside a septic tank.

Ineh, who went missing after she was sent on an errand by her parents on New year day, was found five days after inside a septic tank located behind her family house on January 5.

A child heard her whimpering and alerted people.

She was allegedly abducted by three men, who stabbed her on the back and slit her throat before dumping her in the septic tank to die.

Her body was reportedly covered in white substance suggestive of a case of attempted ritual.

The victim, who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital, however identified one of her neighbours simply identified as “General”, as one of the men behind the cruel act.

She further disclosed that “General” was the one who lured and whisked her away in a car.

The suspect is said to have disappeared from the compound since Ineh went missing.
