As Oyo State is just getting over the #EndSARS protests highjacked by hoodlums, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Iganna Local Council Development Area, Mr Jacob Olayiwola Adeleke, has been kidnapped by some gunmen.

His driver was also kidnapped.

Persecondnews learnt that the council boss was kidnapped on Sunday evening alongside his driver on Okeho-Ado Awaye Road.

Contacted for his comment, the State Police spokesman, DSP Olugbenga Fadeyi, did not respond to calls put through to his mobile phone.

Of late, Oyo State has been the hotbed of violent crimes such as kidnapping, rape, serial killings and murder.
