My BP has shot up over my wife’s waywardness, hubby tells court

“I have developed high blood pressure because of my wife’s nocturnal
activities and unmentionable life style,” an estranged hubby told a court in Ibadan which also severed the 21-year-old loveless union.

For Mr Ojo Ayeni, a painter, it is all over as his request for the dissolution of his marriage to his Sade was granted, Persecondnews reports the court’s proceedings.
Ayeni had accused her of failing to
cook for him and her family for two years, one of the grounds that Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan upheld on Thursday.
In spite of several reports of her misdemeanours to her parents and family members, Sade grew more wings and remained unperturbed.
He told the court: “My Lord, the problem even worsened when Sade started mocking me whenever she saw me cooking for the children.
“In fact, she now returns home very late in the night and has caused a serious division in the home.
“I have developed high blood pressure as a result of her misconduct and I don’t not
want to resolve to self-help in dealing with her.”
He, therefore, asked the court to dissolve union but Sade objected and denied some of the allegations leveled against her.
“Yes I admit that I stopped cooking my husband’s meals because he accused me of trying to poison the food,” she said.uuuu
In his judgment, the President of the court, Mr A. Odunade, said he dissolved the marriage in the interest of peace.
He awarded the custody of the first child to Ayeni and the two others to Sade and also ordered him to pay N10,000 as monthly feeding allowance for the first child.
