Bizarre ! 22-year-old man rapes she-pig at a piggery, faces trial

For having a carnal knowledge of an animal without its content, a 22- year-old man was onTuesday hauled up before an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

 

 

Standing trial on a one-count charge of unnatural offence,  Ayokunbi Olaniyi, entered a not-guilty plea.

 

According to the prosecution, Olaniyi, who resides in Elewi-Odo area of Iwo Road in Ibadan, was caught in a sex romp with a pig at a piggery owned by a woman, Mrs Adenike Taiwo, the complainant.

 

 

Olaniyi, a staff of the pig farm,  had sex on April 2, 2020 with with a pig against the order of nature, Police lnsp. Opeyemi Olagunju, told the court.

 

Following his innocence plea, Olaniyi’s lawyer,  Mr Mumin Jimoh, urged the court to grant him bail on liberal terms.

 

According to him, the owner of the piggery has forgiven the defendant.

 

 

The offence violated Section 214 (2) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Oyo State 2000.

In his ruling, the Chief Magistrate, Mr Olaide Amzat, granted the accused bail in the sum of N100, 000 with two sureties.

 

 

 

He said: ”lf the owner has forgiven the defendant, has God forgiven him or the pig forgiven him?

 

“The law must take its course.”

 

PerSecondnews reports that further hearing of the case has been fixed for July 21.
