U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson Moved to Intensive Care

U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been taken to the intensive care unit after being hospitalized for COVID-19. The prime minister drew criticism initially for brushing off medical precautions in regards to social distancing.

Johnson was said to be conscious but was moved to the ICU in case he needed to be placed on a ventilator.

Johnson asked Foreign Secretary Dominic Rabb to stand in for him while he remains in the ICU, Downing Street said.
