FG pledges support for Dangote Refinery

The minister of petroleum resources Timipre Silva, on Sunday promised to support Dangote Oil Refinery & Petrochemicals Complex to  ensure full and successful completion of the project.

 

The minister made the assurance during a visit to the complex in Lagos, accompanied by the GMD of the NNPC, Mallam Mele Kyari. They were received by Mr. Aliko Dangote.

Kyari in July said the national oil company was not in contest for market share with the Dangote refinery but rather will provide support to the project to boost in-country refining capacity.

” The most important thing is for us to see how we can partner with NNPC, Dangote said when he visited Kyari in July. We want NNPC to be part of us and we also want to be part of NNPC.”

” I think that is the only way we can achieve a win-win situation, he said.
