Five pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) have been kidnapped on their way to the Redemption Camp at Km 45 on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The pastors were abducted on Thursday on Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode-Ore Expressway while travelling to the camp to attend the Ministers’ Conference ahead of the church’s convention next week.
The men of God were kidnapped in Ijebu-Ode area, according to the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enock Adeboye, who broke the news while preaching.
Adeboye asked the congregation to pray for the release of the pastors.
Quoting him:“This incident would be the first time such would be happening to any pastor of the church.
“As a father, how do you think I should feel to hear that five of my children have been kidnapped while on their way to attend the Ministers Conference?’’
