18 years and several legal battles after, MTN Nigeria is finally been listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

The listing was concluded at the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Thursday in Lagos.

“Our MTN Chairman & CEO have been presented with the official plaque, commemorating this monumental milestone in yet another historical moment for us,” the telco said Thursday.
The telecommunications giant has faced several legal issues with the Nigerian regulatory authorities, the most recent being the alleged illegal repatriation of $8.1 billion from Nigeria.
