Buhari Announced Special Guest of Honour at Goodluck Jonathan’s Book Launch

No fewer than 9 African leaders will join President Muhammadu Buhari to honour ex- president Goodluck Jonathan  on the historic launch of his book “Transition Hours” on Tuesday November 20, 2018 at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

President Buhari has been announced as the Special guest of honour, while Chief Olusegun Obasanjo will be the occasion’s chairman.

Also announced as Guest of Honors are, President Dramani Mahama, former Ghana President, General Yakubu Gowon, General Badamasi Babangida, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, and Alhaji Namadi Sambo.

General TY Danjuma will be the chief book presenter, while Justice Salihu Alfa-Belgore will review the book. The royal father of the day will be the Obi of Onitsha,Chief Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, and the chief host is the governor of Bayelsa state, Dr Seriake Dickson.

Other African heads of states expected are Presidents of Guinea, Togo, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Gambia, Niger, Mali, Ivory Coast and the president of the African Development Bank, ADFB Akinwunmi Adesina.

Per Second News gathered that the book is a vibrant celebration of President Goodluck Jonathan, “this perfect commemorative book provides a valuable record of his historical presidency, a member of the public presentation committee told this newspaper on Tuesday.

The book unveils stunning images, as well as notable essays and quotes from a broad spectrum of people, from his remarkable victory to his final days in office and the significant milestones along the way.
