China’s 52-km-long expressway open to traffic as leaders arrive for Forum on China-Africa Cooperation

A new highway Zhipu Expressway in Zhijin County, southwest China’s Guizhou Province opened to traffic as leaders of governments arrive the country for the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).

The some 52-km-long expressway links Zhijin and Puding County to other parts of the country.

Meanwhile, president Muhammadu Buhari has arrived China for the summit. President Buhari will use the occasion of his audience with the Chinese leadership to assess the progress made so far in Chinese interventions in Nigeria’s key priority infrastructure projects, particularly ongoing projects in the railway and power sectors.
