Davido’s lawyer calls out music promoters worldwide to ‘respect the craft’

1.7k

Davido’s lawyer, Bobo Ajudua, criticises music promoters worldwide after Burna Boy walked off a stage in Ivory Coast due to sound technical issues.

Bobo Ajudua made this statement via his X handle.

He said, Promoters/Organisers (all over the world, not just in Africa), please, in 2024, RESPECT THE CRAFT!

Artistes and teams work way too hard and invest way too much in this for you to be completely disregarding technical riders and making talent look stupid in front of thousands of people!!

If they say they’re not performing again, thousands of fans will drag. Not yours.

If they come out and sound or look silly on stage and storm off, it’s the same artiste everyone will abuse, and the video of the artiste that will trend.

Not you. So please, organizers and promoters, If you can’t fulfil these riders, say you can’t fulfil them and leave artistes at home! Pity them! Enough of cutting corners and playing games with people’s careers!
