Nigeria’s Flamingos have stormed into their first FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup final after a dominant 3-1 semi-final win over Brazil in Rabat, Morroco.
The historic victory sets up a Saturday showdown with Japan.
Queen Joseph fired Nigeria ahead in the 56th minute. Awawu Bashiru then struck twice, including a second goal that pushed the lead to 3-0 before Brazil pulled one back.
Coached by Hakeem Ishola, the Flamingos eliminated back-to-back champions North Korea on their path to the final.
