The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has dissolved all its youth support groups across the country and commenced a fresh registration and revalidation exercise aimed at reorganising and strengthening youth mobilisation within the party.

Persecondnews reports that the directive is contained in a publication obtained by Persecondnews at the 109th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting and inauguration of the 2026–2030 NEC, signed by the PDP National Youth Leader, Amb. Ibrahim Bala-Aboki, in Abuja on Wednesday.

The dissolution of existing youth support groups paves the way for fresh applications from duly qualified groups nationwide.

“The Office of the National Youth Leader hereby dissolves all support youth groups and calls for fresh applications from duly qualified Nigerian support groups across the country for revalidation and new registration.”

The party stated that each applicant must be endorsed by two guarantors who are members of the PDP National Executive Committee.

“The registration and revalidation exercise is scheduled to hold from June 19 to July 3, 2026.”

The party said interested groups can obtain and submit application forms through the Office of the National Youth Leader at the PDP National Headquarters, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, or through the designated email channel.

The exercise is expected to streamline its youth support structures, strengthen coordination among youth groups, and establish a more organised framework for grassroots mobilisation and political engagement across the country.
