Nigerian singer Portable has raised concerns about his health following an alleged attack on him by the US-based singing duo, Esquare.

The controversy stems from Portable’s failure to fulfil a collaboration agreement for which he was reportedly paid a substantial N2.5 million.

Esquare, in a video released on Friday, denied physically attacking Portable and accused the singer of playing the victim card to divert attention from his breach of the collaboration agreement.

The duo asserted that Portable had failed to honour their agreement, prompting them to take legal action.

In response, Portable took to social media to counter the claims made by Esquare.

Sharing a video from his hospital bed, the Zazu crooner displayed a swollen and bandaged foot, revealing the extent of the injuries he allegedly suffered.

He pleaded for support from his fans, expressing a fear of dying young and attributing his current predicament to the actions of “evil people.”

“I am feeling so much pain now. I need prayers from you all because I don’t want to die young. Evil people want me to fall, but God is bigger than them all.

”The collaboration dispute has escalated into a public spectacle, with fans and industry observers weighing in on social media platforms.

The controversy surrounding Portable’s health has sparked a wave of sympathy as well as scepticism, as conflicting narratives emerged from both parties involved.

The music industry, known for its occasional controversies, is closely watching as Portable battles not only for his reputation but also for his physical well-being.
