The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that 20 vessels are currently off‑loading petroleum and essential goods at Lagos’s major terminals at Apapa, Tin Can Island, and Lekki Deep Seaport.

Persecondnews reports that the announcement is contained in the NPA’s official bulletin, “Shipping Position.”

It detailed a busy schedule of cargoes including frozen fish, petrol, general merchandise, containers, bulk sugar, buckwheat, bulk fertilizer, bulk urea, bulk gas and bulk gypsum.

In addition to the active vessels, two more ships have already arrived and are waiting to berth, one laden with bulk wheat and the other with containers.

Looking ahead, the NPA noted that another 20 vessels are scheduled to enter the Lagos ports complex between 12 – 14 November.

Their manifests list a mix of cargo such as general cargo, buckwheat, bulk sugar, base oil, aviation fuel, diesel, gas oil, bulk urea, containers and petrol.
