The funeral prayers for former President Muhammadu Buhari concluded on Monday at 4:56 p.m. in Daura, Katsina State.
The solemn Islamic rites, conducted according to Muslim traditions, were led by the Chief Imam of Daura.
A distinguished assembly of dignitaries, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, top government officials, traditional rulers, and religious leaders, attended the prayer session.
The atmosphere was one of profound reverence and reflection, as mourners gathered to pay their final respects to the late former leader.
Immediately after the prayer, the funeral procession proceeded to Buhari’s residence in Daura, where the final internment will take place.
The burial would be held within the precincts of the family compound.
