Real Madrid secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup with a 1-0 win over Juventus at Hard Rock Stadium.

Gonzalo Garcia’s 54th-minute header proved to be the decisive goal, capping off an impressive team effort from the Spanish giants.

The match was a closely contested affair, with Juventus starting strong and creating early chances.

Randal Kolo Muani had a golden chance to score, but his chip shot over Thibaut Courtois went wide of the net.

As the match progressed, Real Madrid found their rhythm.

Both Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde challenged the Juventus defence with their shots.

The breakthrough finally came in the 54th minute, courtesy of Garcia’s well-placed header.

Despite Juventus’s efforts to equalize, Real Madrid’s defense held firm, with Courtois making crucial saves to preserve the lead.

Kylian Mbappe, who returned from illness, came on as a substitute in the 68th minute and was greeted with enthusiasm by the crowd.

Real Madrid’s coach, Xabi Alonso, will be pleased with his team’s performance, which showcased their ability to grind out a win against a resilient Juventus side.

The Spanish giants will now face the winner of the match between Borussia Dortmund and Mexico’s Monterrey in the quarterfinals.

The match was a show of Real Madrid’s determination and skill, with players like Bellingham and Valverde consistently threatening the Juventus goal.
