Kenya Pipeline has secured bronze medal at the 39th CAVB Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship which ends in Abuja on Sunday.

The Kenyan side dominated CF Carthage of Tunisia with a commanding 3-0 victory, winning the sets 28-26, 25-14, and 25-18.

Persecondnews correspondent covering the event reports that Pipeline started the match on a strong note, edging out Carthage in a closely contested first set.

Smart serving and solid teamwork gave them the edge in the closing moments, taking the set 28-26.

Buoyed by their opening set win, the Kenyan side came out with renewed confidence in the second set, outplaying their opponents in every department to cruise to a 25-14 win and a 2-0 lead.

The third set showcased Pipeline’s depth and experience, with excellent court coverage, strategic tips, and well-placed attacks keeping them ahead.

As the team’s communication and synergy improved, they maintained momentum and closed out the match with a 25-18 win.
