US congressman drops bombshell, accuses USAID of funneling taxpayers’ money to Boko Haram, ISIS, Al-Qaeda

A stunning revelation has rocked international circles as American Republican Congressman Scott Perry accused the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) of indirectly funding terrorist organizations, including Nigeria’s Boko Haram.

Perry made the stunning claim during a congressional session, alleging that U.S. taxpayer dollars—amounting to nearly $697 million annually—were funneled into projects that ultimately benefited militant groups across various regions.

According to Perry, USAID’s financial resources, initially meant for humanitarian and educational initiatives, had instead been exploited to fund madrassas, terrorist training camps, and extremist networks such as Boko Haram, ISIS, and Al-Qaeda.

He specifically pointed to operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan, where large sums were allegedly allocated to education programmes that yielded zero evidence of real development.

“The American people need to wake up! Their hard-earned money is being used to support organizations that want to destroy Western values,” Perry declared, calling for an immediate overhaul of the funding system.

He further cited an Inspector General’s report indicating that Taliban-controlled regions in Afghanistan continued to suppress women’s rights, despite the U.S. pouring millions into programmes like the Women’s Scholarship Endowment ($60 million annually) and Young Women Lead ($5 million annually).
