Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has proven that she’s not just a shot-stopper, but also a playmaker, after bagging her first-ever assist in Paris FC’s 3-0 win over Stade de Reims in the French Premiere Ligue women’s division.

The two-time CAF Women’s goalkeeper of the year played a crucial role in the match, providing the assist that led to Paris FC’s third goal.

The match, which took place at the Stade Louis Bleriot N°2, Betheny, saw Paris FC dominate from start to finish.

Clara Mateo opened the scoring in the 19th minute, thanks to an assist from Daphne Corboz.

Mateo doubled the lead in the additional minutes of the second half, before Nnadozie set up Kessya Bussy for the third goal in the 62nd minute.

Nnadozie played the entire match, and her assist marked a historic moment in her career.

The win ensured Paris FC’s second position on the log with 33 points from 14 games, seven points behind leaders Lyon and four points better than PSG.

Paris FC will look to continue their winning streak when they welcome Dijon on February 9, 2025, in their next league game.
