About 48 hours after his removal, President Bola Tinubu has approved the reinstatement of Prof. Nenibarini Zabbey as the Project Coordinator of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP).
Following a performance review of the HYPREP Project Coordinator, the President reached the decision and concluded that the Project Coordinator is fit to discharge his functions in accordance with the regulations guiding the execution of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP).
Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesman, said in a statement on Monday, said: “The directive of the President, the reinstatement of the HYPREP Project Coordinator, takes immediate effect.”
According to Persecondnews, Tinubu appointed Dr. Olufemi Adekanmbi as the Project Coordinator for the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) on Saturday.
Dr. Adekanmbi was Commissioner for Special Duties, Culture, and Tourism in Ondo State and a Nigerian Environmental Society (NES) member.
