Ademola Lookman and Alex Iwobi have arrived at the camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of Friday’s crunch FIFA World Cup Qualifier against South Africa.

The two players’ arrivals swelled the total number of players in camp to 22, with only Italy-based Maduka Okoye the only player yet to report to camp.

Before the end of the day, Okoye, who is already in the country, should join his teammates.

According to Persecondnews, five players arrived in Uyo on Tuesday after becoming stranded in Lagos as a result of the ongoing organized labor strike.

The players are Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Frank Onyeka, and Paul Onuachu.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s opponent, Bafana Bafana of South Africa, is also expected to arrive in Nigeria today in preparation for the all-important game.

The two countries will clash at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, by 7 p.m. in one of the matchday 3 fixtures of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers across the African continent.
