Britain’s King Charles III has been discharged from a hospital in London after undergoing treatment for an enlarged prostate.

Buckingham Palace disclosed in a statement that the 75-year-old monarch had left the hospital and his upcoming public engagements had been rescheduled “to allow for a period of private recuperation.”

”The King spent three nights at the London Clinic, a private hospital near Regent’s Park, after being admitted on Friday, and was said to be “doing well” by Queen Camilla.

She has been visiting her husband daily and was by his side as he left on Monday.King Charles had made his health problem public as a way of sending a message to other men to get their prostates checked.

Following the disclosure, there was an increase in searches about enlarged prostates on the NHS website, which doctors and charities welcomed.
