Music sensation and Grammy Award nominee, Asake, has candidly shared insights into his approach to music, personal life, and the pursuit of success.

In an interview, Asake, also known as Mr Money, opened up about his unwavering commitment to his craft and the challenges he faces amid rising fame and the lure of financial success.

The artist emphasized that he remained impervious to external opinions, asserting, “I don’t allow what people say or do influence me.”

Having risen to prominence under the guidance of Olamide, the founder of YBNL Records, Asake revealed his deliberate decision to focus solely on creating music that resonates with him. He stated, “I just want to do my music the best way I can.”

Addressing the dichotomy between his onstage persona and personal preferences, Asake admitted to occasional shyness before the camera, preferring to let his music take center stage while he stays in the background.

However, he acknowledged the unavoidable impact of financial aspirations, saying, “the love of money will not let me rest. I had to come out and show the people what I can do, so I can make money.”

Asake’s perspective on life and success shines through in his statement: “Life is all about your perspective. What you see, others don’t see, that’s why you just have to do it and show the people what you saw they didn’t see.”

With a Grammy nomination under his belt and a steadily rising career, Asake said he wants to remain a musical force to be reckoned with, driven by his passion and the pursuit of success on his terms.
