Renowned Nigerian actor, Amaechi Muonago, famous for his numerous roles in Nollywood movies, has made a heartfelt plea for assistance as he continues to battle paralysis for more than a year.

The actor had refrained from seeking public help earlier, as he initially believed that his ailment would not last this long.

Muonago, known for his iconic comedy performances on the big screen, is currently undergoing treatment at the Teaching Hospital in Nnewi, Anambra State, where he hopes to find relief and recovery from his debilitating condition.

The actor’s health issues are believed to have been exacerbated by his overweight condition and protruding tummy.

“I am sorry to be bringing my health challenge to the public but the situation grew worse when I thought it would last.

“My left hand and leg are paralyzed. I am not enjoying my life. I am calling on well-meaning Nigerians to come and help me,” he said.

Friends, family, and fans have expressed deep concern for the beloved actor as he reached out to fellow Nigerians and influential individuals for support during this challenging time.

His plea for assistance coincides with another famous actor’s health struggle.

Persecondnews reports that Mr. Ibu, a well-known figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry, is currently battling sickness and has undergone surgery.

It was learned that he is in the process of being taken abroad for treatment.

As both Amaechi Muonago and Mr. Ibu face health challenges, their fans and families are appealing for further urgent assistance.

The Nollywood community is now coming together to help these talented actors receive the medical attention they urgently need.
