The Senate on Tuesday endorsed the request of President Bola Tinubu to appoint 20 special advisers.
Persecondnews reports that the request of the President was read on the floor of the Chambers by the outgoing Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, while the Senate Leader, Ibrahim Gobir, moved that the request be considered.
It was seconded by the Minority Leader of the upper legislative chamber, Sen. Philip Aduda.
Tinubu, however, did not disclose the names of the 20 special advisers in his letter to the Red Chamber.
