As he continues to thrill fans with his music and they reciprocate by streaming his songs on various platforms, Afrobeat music sensation, Bella Shmurda has branded himself a big man with billion streams.
The Cash App singer chronicled his music journey from the beginning when his mum insisted he should focus on either his apprenticeship job or school, saying he never knew he could eventually become a successful singer.
He recalled when he left secondary school, his mum was constantly pursuing him from making music but his passion for music couldn’t be submerged by anyone.
From one job to another, Bella recalled how he went from being a barber to fashion designer but never stopped believing in his music talent.
He later gained admission to Lagos State University where he graduated after a four-year course.
It will be recalled that the “Vision 2020” singer had got the streets of social media beeping with several questions and comments regarding the viral video he posted of himself while in an examination hall when he was writing his final exam at LASU two years ago.
Speaking about his music growth over the years that has seen him amassed almost a billion streams across music platforms on his hit songs, the ‘Dagbana’ crooner stated that he could now be rated as one of the biggest in the industry.
“People can check my streams, I am almost a billion streams and that tells anyone that I am a big man now.”
He also spoke about how he saved his friend and former protégé of Naira Marley, Mohbad, from committing suicide during his troubled times, saying he could have jumped into his death if his girlfriend and his friends had not alerted him.
