In what may appear as a surprising revelation to many, Nollywood actress Jumoke Odetola has announced that she has entered a new spiritual season, declaring herself a minister and preacher of the gospel.
Odetola made the declaration in a series of posts shared on her social media page obtained by PerSecondNews, where she revealed that her recent activities and posts had prompted calls and messages from concerned friends, family members and colleagues.
The actress, who acknowledged the concerns surrounding her recent posts, said there was nothing wrong with her, explaining that something significant was happening in her life.
“I truly appreciate the numerous calls, messages and concerns of my friends, family, colleagues. Thank you so much. I feel seen, cared for and loved,” she wrote.
“Yes, something is going on in my life… but nothing is wrong with me. But nothing is wrong with me.”
Odetola then revealed that she is entering what she described as a “new season with God,” adding that she is now a minister of God.
“I am entering a new season with God. I am now a preacher of the gospel,” she declared.
The actress’ declaration comes after a series of posts that had apparently sparked concern among people close to her, prompting questions about her wellbeing.
She, however, reassured them that her transition was spiritual, saying she is now embracing a new phase of her relationship with God.
“I am now a minister of God,” Odetola stated.
