Davido’s Sister Sharon Reveals Weekly Finance Meetings Over Singer’s Spending

Davido’s sister, Sharon Ademefun, has revealed that she holds weekly finance meetings with the singer to keep track of his spending, particularly his purchases of luxury cars and jewellery.

Sharon, a serial entrepreneur and mother of three, said she is wealthy in her own right but has a different approach to managing money, choosing to work within the budget available to her.

Speaking on The Morayo Show monitored by Per SecondNews, she said her regular financial discussions with Davido are necessary because she wants him to understand how his money is being spent.

“I and Davido would sit and have a finance meeting every week because I think it is important for him to know how his money is being spent,” she said.

Sharon said she does not hesitate to tell her younger brother when she disagrees with his spending decisions, even when doing so leads to disagreements between them.

“The problem is that me and David, we are always fighting. The one that other people can’t tell him, me, I’ll tell him,” she said.

According to her, cars and jewellery are among the biggest areas where she regularly cautions the singer about his spending.

“One of the major things that I’m always getting on my brother is jewellery and cars,” she said.

Sharon explained that while she has substantial financial resources herself, she remains conscious of her budget and spends according to what is available to her.

She contrasted that approach with Davido’s penchant for luxury purchases, saying their weekly meetings often provide an opportunity to discuss his financial decisions.

During one of their conversations, Sharon said she had to tell the singer directly: “David, please, no more cars.”

Davido has over the years become known for his collection of luxury automobiles, with the singer frequently showing off new additions to his garage.
