The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially recognized the Nyesom Wike-aligned National Working Committee (NWC) as the legitimate leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
On Monday, March 30, the electoral body updated its official website to reflect this change, listing the newly ratified officers—including National Chairman Alhaji Abdulrahman Mohammed and Secretary Senator Samuel Anyanwu—as the authorized heads of the main opposition party.
Those listed include Abdulrahman Mohammed as National Chairman and Samuel Anyanwu as National Secretary, alongside other members of the party’s national leadership.
Both Abdulrahman and Anyanwu emerged during the PDP National Convention held on Sunday night at the velodrome of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
